Steven, I think the JT400.jar file is part of the Java Toolkit (5722-JC1 on my system). That might not be the only thing you're missing, but if you've got a java pgm talking to AS/400 I bet that it's one thing you are. I think you want to run a "real" install, not just copy the directory, because there may be objects in HFS that need to be there. -Marty --__--__-- From: Steven.Gray@arvalphh.co.uk To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: AS400 Java run time environment Date: Fri, 26 Jul 2002 15:10:31 +0100 Reply-To: midrange-l@midrange.com All, I have an NT server running a suite of Java programs which pass data upto an AS400 environment. The original bods who created the environment are no longer available and of course no documentation was produced! I have been tasked with replicating this environment to be added to a standard build NT server. Looking at how the original server has been created , it has JDK1.2.2 - which I have downloaded. But it also has a Jt400 folder. I have found this folder within the websphere development kit but do I need to just copy this folder over or do I need to install the whole WSD kit? Can you just install the Java portion? Regards Steven Gray Development/Support Analyst Business Solutions IT
