You could make things easy on yourself and export the files via NFS.  Then
the iSeries could read the files directly with no transfers needed.

Of course you could also script sending things as someone already
mentioned.  There are so many excellent scripting tools on UNIX that I
would look there if I couldn't use NFS.

And it can all be automated to match what you need.  We used to have to do
stuff like this all the time.
