Come to think of it, if you want to do some extra work, you could create 3
queries:

1. Send to an outfile the data where the value is less than the lower range
value.
2. Send to that same outfile the data where the value is greater than the
upper range value.
3. Produce your report over the new outfile. You would, of course, delete
the outfile at the end.
