Jim, thanks for the suggestions. We have a few different values from what
you have listed.

> TCP receive buffer size . . . . > 64000
> TCP send buffer size . . . . . . > 64000
We have these set at the max - I believe per a consultant we have worked
with.

> IP datagram forwarding . . . . . *YES
This is the one that interests me. Ours is set to *NO. What exactly does
this do? I've read the help text on it, but it's still rather non-specific.

> IP reassembly time-out . . . . . > 120
We have ours set to 10 per an IBM service call on performance.

Thanks, and I am looking into the other messages from everyone else. I'm
interested in the note from Carl as well that a session connected via IP is
doing alright. We are a strictly Client Access Express (V5R1) shop here. We
have a majority of users with deskjet printers who need the printer
emulation. I'm not really familiar with any other Windoze products that
provide printer emulation support, but I would be interested in that. Client
Access is great for the added functionality of Ops Nav and other tools, but
the emulation may be too robust. My mochasoft session is using half the
memory usage as my client access sessions.

Thanks again and I hope this can be resolved. It's odd that the commonality
here seems to be Client Access and some type of VPN connection.
