I have used rmt outq's because the printers are shared network printers,
being used mainly by desktop PC's and other server apps, my experience has
been that they do not co-exist happily if I config a conventional printer
device (a locking issue I guess); also one of my AS's is a v3r2 box and
LANATTACH is not an option.

I have tweaked a test application with OVRPRTF PAGESIZE(11.69 8.27 *UOM)
UOM(*INCH); this, I believe is the actual size of the A4 in the printer. An
isolation test has been successful, it appears the AS may be sending the
wrong papersize by default.

I will now test this mod (and my theory) on my application, stand-by ...

I must admit that I have my IBM printers set up as *LAN printers, without
problems, but if I try setting up HP4000's the same way, then they fail,
so I have to use them as remote outq's, with the loss of functionality
that entails.
