I have used rmt outq's because the printers are shared network printers, being used mainly by desktop PC's and other server apps, my experience has been that they do not co-exist happily if I config a conventional printer device (a locking issue I guess); also one of my AS's is a v3r2 box and LANATTACH is not an option. I have tweaked a test application with OVRPRTF PAGESIZE(11.69 8.27 *UOM) UOM(*INCH); this, I believe is the actual size of the A4 in the printer. An isolation test has been successful, it appears the AS may be sending the wrong papersize by default. I will now test this mod (and my theory) on my application, stand-by ...
