To find the related CCSIDs there is an API known as both QTQGRDC (in QSYS)
and CDRGRDC (in QSYS2). To determine *PCASCII and *STDASCII equivalents
you would specify an encoding scheme (ESIN) of x'00004105' and x'00002100'
respectively (for SBCS equivalents anyway - other ESIN values are also
supported).

This API can be found in the Information Center under API category National
Language Support/Character Data Representation Architecture (CDRA) APIs/Get
Related Default CCSID (CDRGRDC).

Does anyone know how to take any AS/400 CCSID and determine the equivalent
PC Code page as IBM does in the parameter values *PCASCII and *STDASCII? I
know the values when using US CCSID 037 but the rest . . . .?

I'm writing a command that optionally uses these values which if used I
then
need to determine the PC code page value when I write to the IFS directly.
