RE: Decision Data 3776 dumb terminal serial port usage

We have several IDEA terminals and the serial port can be used for a mouse
or, in our case, a micr scanner.  Basically we put the cursor where we want
the scanned data to go and run a check through the scanner.  Low and behold
the micr data appears on the line we positioned the cursor.  I do not know
if the Decision Data terminals will work the same.  Good luck and hope you
find a manual or the right combination.

am I going to be forced to purchase a keyboard wedge for this option -
sales reps of course have that and much more that I can use,
but I am looking for "in-expensive" and use what I have if at all possible.
