In my ongoing efforts to help people to help themselves (some might deduce
a God complex from that statement as in "God helps those who help
themselves" -- also the corollory "God help them if I catch them helping
themselves to my stuff!" but I digress):

Gooolly ... lookee that!

                Display option (DSPOPT) - Help

  *ALL
All objects, including the PC system and hidden
objects, are displayed. Objects beginning with a
period (.) are shown (with asterisk (*) specified for
the pattern) including the directory (.) and parent
      directory (..) entries.

See also the help text for the default *PRV value.
