This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I am looking for some guidance as to how to create a CA installation CD. The install program needs to be able to do the following: 1.. Upon insertion into the PC, launch itself. 2.. Detect if CA was previously installed. 3.. If CA V3R2 or earlier is detected, uninstall, reboot, and begin installing the new code. 4.. If CA V4 is detected, the migration should be run. 5.. If there are custom settings (keyboard, toolbar, device names, printer sessions), they must be reinstated. If anybody is doing this kind of CA administration now, I'd like to talk with you. I normally only deal with a handful of CA installs at any one time, but I just got asked to take care of a mixed bag of 300 plus PC's scattered around the country.
