I did suggest it to Ready-to-Run and got the following back after submitting my suggestion: Thank you for your suggestion. Ready-to-Run Software correlates all request for additional operating systems and web servers and forwards this information to Microsoft. Your suggestion will be included in our next compilation. It's interesting they just wind up forwarding the request to M$. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of David Gibbs Sent: Monday, June 24, 2002 11:11 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Appache Extension for FrontPage "Jeff Silberberg" <jsilberberg@mindspring.com> wrote in message 001501c21b83$71832100$10c810ac@NewDesk">news:001501c21b83$71832100$10c810ac@NewDesk... > I have read this three times, and I am not really sure what you are > asking. Frontpage extensions are a lot more than just publishing content. There's security management, pluggable web automation, collaborative development, etc. I think it would be a find thing for someone to port frontpage extensions to apache on the 400. Contact Ready to Run software (http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport/) to see if they can/will do it. david -- David Gibbs Sr. Software Engineer / R&D / MKS Inc., www.mks.com Lombard, IL, USA; tel: 630-495-2108; fax: 630-495-3591 Build Better Software _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
