I don't use them because not all types of display support them well. Here we have three different emulators and two types of terminals. The only thing that we use that works properly with them is Client Access. It's a matter of being forced to the lowest common denominator because it's not worth the trouble to train users to deal with the interface being different for the same program on different displays.
