It is strange tho when you compare the servers. Is
the Apple Xserver actually more capable than the
biggest dual processor 270?

The 270 2434 has 2 600 mhz SStar processors 4mb cache,
max dasd of 421 mb and costs with software $200K ++

The Apple Xserver comes with 2 1 GHz Powerpc processors
4 mb of cache and 420 mb of storage, plus a gigabit
ethernet adaptor and software for $7k.

Can a $7K machine actually kick a 270's butt? I would
love to see the Linux 270 and the Xserver in a match :)
PCI to PCI, PowerPc to PowerPc, Java to Java winner take
all.

Regards

Konrad
