Hi all,

I just wanted to post this message to report on the resolution to my
problem. I had a very strange situation where the GUI admin for the Apache
HTTP server did not show the three options for the TomCat wizard as all of
the documentation assured me it would. I applied Cum's and group PTF's with
no luck. I also configured a server by hand using the documentation on the
Jakarta site but the server would crash on start-up saying that the JAVA
environment was invalid (big help!). David Morris suggested that one of the
jar files may be damaged so I compared my files against another V4R5
installation and all looked Ok (although I suspect he is correct). That
system was not at the same group PTF release so I didn't try to copy its jar
files to my system. In desperation, I did a SAVSYS, SAVLICPGM, and
DLTLICPGM 5769DG1. I then reinstalled 5769DG1, reapplied the cum and the
latest SF99035 group PTF and VOILA!!!! I get the three Tomcat Wizard
options on the admin GUI and I'm a happy guy. So if anyone runs into this
in the future, it may be easier to just reinstall the server than try to
troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks,

Tim
