Don't know what to tell you about RTVSYSVAL for your current version. Is it
possible someone could have deleted or renamed the command?

As I seem to recall, all of the QSYSVvRrMm libraries are for previous
compiler support. Nothing more.

Subject: OS release

hi all,
there seems something to be wrong in the last system
updates:

I tried to do a RTVSYSVAL in a CL program.
The answer was 'command RTVSYSVAL in Library *LIBL not
found'
I looked for RTVSYSVAL (WRKOBJ OBJ(*ALL/RTVSY*) and
that's what I've got:

  RTVSYSINF *CMD QSYS
RETRIEVE SYSTEM VALUE
  RTVSYSINF *CMD QSYSV3R2M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM INFORMATION
  RTVSYSVAL *CMD QSYSV3R2M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM VALUE
  RTVSYSINF *CMD QSYSV4R2M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM INFORMATION
  RTVSYSVAL *CMD QSYSV4R2M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM VALUE
  RTVSYSINF *CMD QSYSV4R3M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM INFORMATION
  RTVSYSVAL *CMD QSYSV4R3M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM VALUE
  RTVSYSINF *CMD QSYSV4R4M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM INFORMATION
  RTVSYSVAL *CMD QSYSV4R4M0
RETRIEVE SYSTEM VALUE
  RTVSYSVAL *CMD QSYS38
RETRIEVE SYSTEM VALUE

So I dont have a RTVSYSVAL in the current version of
OS and a lot in previous (we are today on V4R5M0).
What can be done to improve this situation - and why
are those previous versions of OS still on the machine
? I thought, they are deleted automaticaly!

thanks and regards
