Pat:
A PC diskette is 1.44 mb, but the drive in the 5494 is 2.88.  I usually
just use the PC (DOS based) utility program to create the config, and
then use the procedure to copy the new config to the 5494 boot disk.

Be very careful... You couldn't copy 5394 diskettes with any
MS product. Even DOS would "wack the boot sector".... The 5494 might be
different, but I doubt it. You can download an image of the diskette
create program at a IBM web site that I can't find at the moment.
