David, Great idea, do all the same rules apply? Does the news group handle .txt attachments? (Useful for code excerpts) Is there a size limit on postings? Are there any additional constraints/rules? For those of you who do not have a news client that understands the news url, the servers name is news.gmane.org, and the newsgroup is 'gmane.comp.hardware.ibm.midrange'. You still need to be subscribed to the list in order to contribute, but you can set your subscription options to "No Mail", so you do not receive each individual messages. If MIDRANGE-L is handled well enough, I'll probably start offering other lists as newsgroups also.
