You can also use MS Query with any AS.400 ODBC driver. All the work is on
the PC. ODBC admin in Control Panel is where you add the data source, using
the ODBC driver. Then go to Data->Get External Data->New Database Query...

Just tried it. It has one feature, at least in Office 2000, that is neat,
and CA addin doesn't have this: The buildup of the WHERE clause shows you
the actual values in the column. Pretty neat.

I don't remember whether the Data Transfer option costs you. If so, the
ODBC option may be appealing, as it's already paid for with CAE.
