Gee, every time a tape drive, RS/6000, drive array, or printer gets within
three months of falling off the original maintenance period my phone rings.
In some cases this is even though we already have a multi-year maintenance
contract set up.  And each time the call is from a different IBM rep in a
different part of the country.  I think they have these commission-based
sales reps all over the place scanning their databases for an opportunity to
sell a maintenance contract.

Someone in your organization is probably getting notified -- it's probably
just the wrong person.
