Internally, at or beyond Senior we have three levels: Director, Senior
Consultant, and Vice-President (or the equally impressive
'Chief-Of-Something').

Senior level people are still programmers/analysts with a lot more
'director' in the mix. Basically, they're the project managers. If they
get job offers and we want to keep them, we give them a new title (Sr
Consultant) and maybe bump up the pay. If we really need to, we can make
them VP.

<snip>
Right now we have two job titles: "AS/400 Programmer/Analyst" & "Senior
AS/400 Programmer/Analyst". <more snip>

Does anyone have any suggestions for possible titles? Are there any good
references for this sort of thing? Are there reasonably standard job
description/titles in the midrange world?
