Ack! This was a message on a Linux server group I am on. The guy was asking for ideas on where to go for a Linux server. It would be running a database ... they were speced out with Dell for about $100K. He actually wanted RISC as opposed to x86. I told him go for the AS/400 running Linux. IBM didn't return his calls.
