Hello,

Today the users called and said that CAE would stop working correctly
when they were inputting dates and would eventually crash with an
illegal operation. The system is V5R1M0 with current Cum C2071. CAE is
V5R1M0 with the current service pack SI02795. PCs are Win98se and
WinXp. The date input fields are using EDTMSK and when the problem
first develops it is that the cursor will not skip over the / via
EDTMSK and input stops because it is in a non input area. If the user
manually (arrows) move the cursor they can continue. Later it will
progress so that the have to arrow out of the field entirely and back
to the next portion. Later still it progresses to where the cursor
jumps to the top of the screen instead of over the /. Finally the
illegal operation hits.

I couldn't find anything directly related in the archives or on the
IBM sites.

Has anyone experienced this or hopefully found a work around?

Thanks.
