I don't think the Xerox 265 is capable of the so called "IP-Port-Printing"
you are referring to. I don't even think that this beast is able to understand
HP PJL at all, so Host-Print Transform with *HPPJLDRV would lead in
that PND state forever.
A customer of mine has such a printer installed, when the Xerox-technician
came to install the network feature, he told me about īsome Unix OS running
inside the box and that had has to create an LPR-Queue on one of their
network-server to make it available to the PC-world.
No IP-port needed for this, the PC side works fine, but we are not using
this as an AS/400 printer at that site, sorry.
But the tip with "raw" as outqueue name should be worth trying, or try
something like "lp" or "PASSTHRU" values that Xerox documentation
mentions.
