You could write exit programs (search the archives for info on this) or you
could purchase a security product that implements exit programs for you.
Which route you choose will depend on your programming staff's skill level,
your budget, and exactly what your needs are.  If no products meet your
needs and you do not have the skillset in-house then you could hire a
contractor to write the custom exit programs for you.  The company I work
for and many others on this list offer custom programming services like
this.
