We regularly order the DB fixes (SF99104) V4R4. There is a data area that
is updated on the system (QSYS/SF99104). Currently we are at the 14th
update on this PTF as seen in data area position 21 and the last update was
February 21, 2001. I have two questions. First of all, is there any way to
tell, other than installing the package, if we have received an update?
Secondly, should we even worry about this since we're still on V4R4 (we
will be installing V5R1 soon - we got the software this week)? I would
assume that there will be no more updates to the DB fixes since IBM doesn't
support V4R4 any longer - there will be no more cume packages.
