RE: phone numbers

I think it is different for each LEC.  Is this a line hooked to an AS400?
If so you can create an SDLC line called test, and then create an APPC
controller called test.  In the APPC controller specify the controller dials
immediately when it is varied on and have it call your cell phone (or any
other phone w/caller ID).  That will tell you the phone number.

Last June someone wrote in with a phone number to call and it would tell
you what phone number you were calling from (analog line). I tried the
number this morning and it does not work. Does anyone know what it got
