you already have what you need, look at the
journal in your SQL collection, for every delete
operation you have an entry

issue a "DSPJRN yourLibHere/QSQJRN" (QSQJRN is the default name)

you'll see (it's in German so your column headings will look different)
the last line results from the deletion of a record with "5" before
the line you'll see the record itself.

If any of u can , plz send me an example of a trigger program in COBOL.

my reqd is :

whenever a row is deleted from a table..., an audit table should get that
row inserted into it...

hi , i am new to this forum.. we had recently acquired v4r5 machines....
I guess triggers can be written in thsi for SQL deletes or updates on
table...

plz tell where where to find material on how to do it...
or otherwise , plz explain writting a  trigger here only. ....
