SENDING E-MAILS FROM THE AS/400 The item "Sending Event Notification Messages" that appeared in the August 22 issue of this newsletter included a small CL program to e-mail event notifications. If you're interested in easily sending e-mail from your applications, there are additional free or shareware AS/400 e-mail utilities available: a. Utility SNDEMAIL was published in the September 1998 NEWS/400 in the article "RPG Utility Puts QtmmSendMail API to Work," which can be viewed and downloaded by AS400 Network Professional members at http://www.as400network.com/artarchive/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewarticle&CO_ContentID=2806 . b. Utility Email is freeware product from Genesis V. The CMD, CL, and RPG source, along with installation instructions, are available from http://www.genesisv.com/freesource/email.shtml . c. Utility eMail Tool is shareware from BVS/Tools and is available at http://www.bvstools.com/mailtool.html .
