Where are you seeing these invalid sign-on attempts from?

If they are from a green screen signon look at QAUDJRN for journal code T
and type PW.  This will at lease show you the device the attempt was made
from.

If the attempts are from servers running under TCP/IP (Telnet, FTP, etc.),
ip address is discernable through exit programs.

Our security software is reporting that a user called ADMIN is trying to
sign on to my AS/400.  There is no such user on the AS/400.  Is there
anyway I can find the IP address that this sign on is coming from? I
suspect that this is some DEVICE on our network, not actually a bona-fide
hack attempt.
