I once moved 24 2gb 9337's from one asp to another and if I remember
correctly it took about 7/8 hours, system was about 70% utilisation.

Subject: How long to move a disk from one ASP to another

The Backup and Recovery Manual has a section (8.2.4) that describes how to
move
a disk from one ASP to another using DST. The process looks pretty
straightforward. One of the bullet points says "The system may take a long
time
to move the unit........" but it gives no indication of what "a long time"
is.

Has anyone done this? Are we talking 5 minutes or 5 hours?

I need to reconfigure several disks. Some are 4GB, others are 8 GB and they
are
running about 50% of capacity.

Phil
