I mean NO disrespect for the folks at Midrange Computing, but I know exactly
how a thing like this occurs: By writing my own search engine instead of
buying the best.  I can't speak for MC, but I know that all the places I
have worked for have a strong tendency to "do it yourself."

As far as Google goes, try appending a site to your search; if looking for
an IBM reference, search on "DDS reference site:ibm.com"  If somebody tells
you that Midrange Computing had an article on FIXDECERR, you could search on
"fixdecerr site:midrangecomputing.com" and only look on MC's pages.
