We have a v4r5 270 model m/c..... Today this machine crashed abnormally fol. by unattended IPL..... We saw the history log later..... at 16:32:14 it gave the fol message....... Additional Message Information Message ID . . . . . . : CPF0C4D Date sent . . . . . . : 28-08-01 Time sent . . . . . . : 16:32:14 Message . . . . : Error occurred while processing object QSZPAVLI in library QUSRSYS. Cause . . . . . : While processing object QSZPAVLI type *PRDAVLI in library QUSRSYS an error occurred which prevented the operation from completing successfully. The return code is 1099-DAMAGED. Recovery . . . : See the previously listed messages. Correct any errors, and try the request again. after the above error, at 16:32:17 the system ended abnormally and unattended IPL got started... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the message was.... Unattended IPL in progress after abnormal system end. We are interested in knowing this object QSZPAVLI in library QUSRSYS. pls check & ensure that this should not happen in future. Plz. anyone if u can tell what could have happened/. Now I am not able to find the object QSZPAVLI in my machine.. nor i am able to find this object on two similar 820 model machines which we have... Does momentary power off has anyhting to do with it.. ???? though we have UPS but the cleaning staff could have tripped on the cable... this is a remote possibilty but i just asked... tomorrow i will be able to tell for sure whether the cleaning staff had gone in the room or not...
