Hi Oliver,

What to watch out for with CFINT - depends very much which model & which
interactive feature you have. Graphs can be found in the document
'Performance Capabilities Reference' for the version of OS/400 you have (I
think this is on the web somewhere).
As to the system jobs, the RMTSAFETA is 'Service nonresident timer requests'
and the SMMIRRORMC is not in my list but I've assumed is disk mirroring or
some such. Both are normal anyway. To see the system task names you need a
document which is given out when you attend IBM's Performance Analysis and
Capacity Planning course (E4PA) as Appendices to the student manual.
Appendix C (OS/400 Module names), Appendix D (MI Instruction names) and
Appendix E (SLIC Task names) - this list is not complete, just a summary,
and there are about 3500 there. You can also get the list from an IBMer. It
is useful not only for WRKSYSACT tasks but for looking at the program stack
when trying to diagnose a program performance problem.
Hope this helps,
Clare
