Sorry for the confusion.

I was joking with R Bruce re cobol syntax.  He pointed out that rpg dtaara
syntax was no better than cobol. I think Cl has an excellent syntax and my
ChgDtaAra remark  was referring to how simple and directly you can code such
a stmt in CL.

This is all IBM's fault<g>. If they just provided a chgdtaara api ( all
types of dtaara ), you could code an ile chgdtaara module any way you wanted
it.
