I don't think you need the Socks client unless your firewall uses socks for acess to the net. Try the iPTF w/out the socks client. I have created a new PTF order, submitted, started it, provided my AS/400 system name, userid and password ... but Primary error code 0065 - socket open to retain failed. I have scoured manuals, the web, loads of searches ... nothing. Does anyone have an idea what this error code is, or where I can look it up ?
