We had this problem when we were upgrading our shop to CAE.
It depends on what you are using on the desk top.  If you are using Windows 98, 
there is a problem with how Windows 98, 95 and NT store the password.  There is 
also a change in the, but us old iSeries folks can't remember what the change 
is.  I will get hold of our desktop folks and send the information.
