  • Subject: Line TCPETH01 Vary On Failed

Hi,

We just upgraded from V4R1 to V4R5 and Temporary
Applied the PTF'S that came with the OS CD's,
"Installation Preparation".

The message we're getting is that "Line ETHTCP Vary On
Failed" I removed it and added a new Line TCPETH01 and
stepped thru' TCPADM and got the same message except
it now said the new interface "TCPETH01 Vary On
Failed".

We checked WRKHDWRSC *CMN and all were Operational. Is
there a PTF that will fix this problem or is there
something we're leaving out? We've IPL'd and still get
above message.

I'm getting this message as well: "Usage limit of 0
exceeded. Grace period expires in 66 days on 8/30/01."
Does the LICKEY have to be re-input?

Appreciate any input..

Thanks,
Max
