Basically you get a total cpw of say 600, of that you can purchase the
increments of the
interactive portion of that cpw, so say you get the feature for 120 cpw
interactive, then
batch will have 480 cpw to work with. Your current system will allocate as
much as batch
can take from your interactive jobs. So, I would get at least the increment
that is just
above what your currently have, unless you feel your interactive response is
really bad,
and you have very few batch jobs running, then I would double that number to
say 240,
I do not have the exact specks in front of me, IBM or your VAR should have
those, but
remember the price jump from 120cpw to interactive to 240cpw is steep, and
depending on
the size of your shop, may not be necessary since batch has its own cpw
"area".

HELP

This has undoubtedly been covered here before, but...i missed it,
so......

Does anyone know how my current CPW rating of 114 on a Model 620/2180
relates to the new model of batch CPW and interactive CPW?

If I upgrade to a new model, how much interactive CPW do i need to
purchase to equal the interactive performance i currently have?
