Can V4R5 compile back to V3R2?  (And thus allow restores on V3R7 and above?)

I would hate to see us stuck on our V3R2 developement box until we get four of
our V3R7 boxes current.  (The V3R2 box was to have been the first to be
replaced.)

IBM announced today that V5R1 will be available in late May, and that  you
can upgrade directly from V4R4 (as well as V3R2).  You can no longer
compile back as var as V3R2, which closes the loophole of being able to
compile back to V3R7, V4R1, V42R2 and V4R3.

So a direct upgrade it possible, but many people subscribe to the theory
that they don't want to upgrade to any new release until the first post-GA
CUM is available.
