That's what I thought at first, but "Fix Decimal Data" and "Ignore Decimal Data Error" are two entirely different things according to the manual. "Fix Decimal Data" actually changes invalid decimal data to 0 if the field is not packed. "Ignore Decimal Data Error" simply ignores any invalid decimal data with, as I recall, unpredictable results. I verified this difference using the solution Carsten recommended. Looks like that solution will get me what I want though with some manual effort. I think I can create a CL program to create a list of all RPG programs, execute STRDBG and ADDBKP for each program, display the program variable to print, and then copy the spooled file to a physical file. Press F1 on it and the help text explains the setting. It sounds like what you are looking for. <clip> +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
