        Get a second system, Do MIMIX or some other High Availability
solution. An them do your upgrades doing normal business hours along with
tests of the HA solution/switch over.

        This is an easy solution all it takes is $$'s...  But seriously, if
you are as system dependant as your note implies it may be something you can
justify to management.
