Correct; they can release their lock and get the new menu at their convienence.

Such as??  I've never witnessed problems even on a production machine.  OTOH, it
is not something that happens on a very frequent basis.  Most changes promote
from a development box to production box when users are not on the system.

This is just the method I use to allow it to happen during the day when the need
arises.  It avoids the need to get an exclusive lock which is problematic if it
is in use by say the telemarketing department...  (OK, everyone off the phone!)
