We are just starting to do this.  We just went to each PC and created
the certificate there. 
I will let you know if we discover how to transfer them.  I am pretty
sure you need to protect the certificate's integrity so you may still
have to go to each pc.

BTW this should probably be posted on the WEB400 list.
