I have half heartedly tried that too. I cannot get the PC to accept the
certificate and connect. We went with a VPN to open up our network. This
required specific software to be installed on the client machines. If you
figure it out, PLEASE post the solution here.

Subject: cliient certificates

Has anyone successfully used client certificates to authenticate to the
AS/400? I was able to create a user certificate from the web server
interface, but it would only let me create one for myself. I need to be
able to create for other users and send them the certificate.

Then the goal is to use Client Access with SSL and only allow users with
valid certificates. I need to allow Internet access, but I do not want just
anyone getting a signon screen if they point to our address with SSL/Client
Access.

Thanks!
