good to hear. I was playing "Devil's advocate" a little bit, because some
of my objections *I also hear*. Not everything I said was original with me.
:-)
I keep preaching the importance of *always* going through an interface
whenever you call *anything* external to your program, but I get lectured
about performance, "matter of taste", programmers' laziness (actually
a lazy programmer is often a good programmer).
