There are a lot of pages on the internet with pin outs.  I use netscape
and just type in "RS232 pin out" as the url, which uses netscape search,
and gives me a bunch of URLS with RS323 pinouts.  Here's a pretty good
one:

a IBM RS232 cable? I need the pinouts from the RS232 end not the IBM end
which attaches to a 2745 card.
