I believe you will see a lot in the way of security/authentication 
enhancements in V5R1 in a few more months.

Does anyone know of any plans for IBM to support using either Novell's
NDS or MS Active Directory as a means to authenticate users to access
IFS drives/folders and/or sign on to the AS/400 ?

I would like to head towards a single sign on and single point of
access control for all services that I provide to users.
