That shop standard should be discussed, I'd think.  HANS, sure would be nice
if DSPF members could have an H-Specs entry to control such things at
compile-time, like RPGIV does.

But, my guess is it's an overlay thing.  I'd play with the overlay on both
the CTL rec and the display you're displaying the subfile onto as well as on
the CMDKEY record, if you're using one, and on the msgctl record, again, if
you're using it, check the SFLDSP and SFLDSPCTL indicators.  Sometimes, I
just try to get too efficient and display the CMDline before entering the
"DoW not done" loop...when this bites me, I just un-efficient a little and
write msgctl,  write xxxcmd, exfmt xxxctl records at the top of  the DO
loop.
Oh, yeah, make sure the records are not overlapping on the attribute byte.

Same kind of thing pops up on me about every couple months or so...almost
all of the coding I do is wrapped around a subfile of some kind.  It's
almost always one of the above things.
