CAE and SSL Configuration

I am currently implementing SSL-128 bit on our AS/400 720 V4R4 with CAE
V4. The main objective being secured sessions for the users that have been
granted permission to use their personal home computers for work. The user
will log on to internet through a local ISP and then connect to the AS400
with TCP/IP.

The procedure outlined in the IBM AS400 Client Access Express for Windows:
Implementing V4R4M0 can be used by a IT person but it is not an easy
procedure for the non IT person.

1. The SSL portion of CAE has to be downloaded from the AS/400 and
configured.
        I burned a CD with the information from the AS400, used that to install
instead of the actual connection. It worked.

2. Then the user has to connect to the AS400 to receive the certificate,
test the connection and change the CAE properties to enable SSL.

3. As for as I can tell, this has to be completed over non-SSL connection.

My questions for this wise group:

1. How can I make a simple install CD for the user to use to make the
install very easy?

2. Has anyone developed a different solution?

3. After SSL is installed on all the PCs that require it, the non ssl
ports closed, a need to install it on another PC arises, do I have to open
up the ports again for the new install.

By the way, bringing in the home computers into the office is not an
option. Some of these computers are in remote locations and getting
connected to the internet at 28.8 is a good connection.

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
