Ah, there's a misunderstanding here ... I'm trying to publish to the
400 using FTP (I know that FP extensions don't work on the 400).

The URL (approximate) I'm trying to publish to is:
ftp://server.domain.tld/midrange/html

Unforunately, I'm not at the machine right now, so I can't check to 
see exactly how it responds.

I'll try again tonight and post.
