For now, you can connect a standard SDLC modem to the other comm port on the card and get PTF's via SDLC dial-up as always. PTF support for internal V.90 modem will be made available by PPP dial-up via PTF's later this year, and PM/400 dial-up by PTF will be available next year via PTF. As to when IBM will have their infrastructure ready in different countries to allow PPP dial-up to order PTF's in a question best directed to your local IBM office. According to information that was given me, this modem alone after functions for pluggings PPP, being available for pluggings SDLC the installation of PTF's. IBM in Portugal does not confirm the information nor knows which is the PTF's. Does anyone can help me ?
